As you can see, i have used a variety of people- ages, gender, clothing. This is to show that everyone can and will want to be with WITH.
What do you think so far? Its quite hard to get images that are at the right angle, also, what to do for the bumper at the back where the number plate is? Unles
s someone is kind of bent round it haha, or maybe even if i cut them hanging from the roof downwards- but then there is the problem of the window! Maybe just some type?

Heres Something else I just wanted to add- it gives a better Idea of how the taxi would look with our design on it- of course there would be type and other people hanging off... but just a quick visual :)
looking good freya; just thinking maybe the people should be a little bit bigger; just because of proportions. I will start hunting down some images in a min just going to do some sketches; then ill be on it. I wouldn't worry aswell about fitting the whole person; even if bits are cut off because you make them bigger; you still get the idea

ReplyDeleteMy thoughts were just that you will get its people even if they are smaller, but yea I think I'd prefer to have them 'life' size. However we dont know the actual dimentions of the cab?! in terms of measurements do we?
I'll just do them bigger!!

hi guys, good effort freya. You're right bout people getting cut off, a hanging torso on the cab would look really weird. Also, Im wondering about the overall idea though. I dont know if ultimately it'll still look like we slapped people on, like flies, cos the media looks really 2d. Any alternative ideas/ modifications possible? Dont want us to put in loads of effort to have an unsuitable outcome again.
ReplyDeleteokay, well they were always gonna look 2D, at the end of the day its just a sticker thats being stuck onto a cab. We cant have real people flapping off the edges!!
ReplyDeleteIts just the whole concept that people are jumping on board. We are just giving them the idea that they are clinging onto the cab- and therefore WITH itself.
We dont have time to change it all again- we'll just have to work on it, maybe add some shadow- dont forget Iv put on a few more people and also me and Rob were gonna do it again tomorrow and re-arrange. PLUS Type still has to go on, which malcolm we will need your help with cause we will need to see what u have done...

like just that 1 girl hanging on there, is somewhat comical! and way more believable in that picture. Definitely helps in the live picture as opposed to viewing it off the template.
