I LOVE DRAWING ON INCONVENIENT PAPER!

As you can tell from the images below my idea generation session was llllooooonnnngggggg; in more ways than one. I spent a number of hours coming up with as many ideas I could; some extremely ridiculous; but i hoped that these would help spark new exciting ideas. when I started on this ridiculous roll of paper (it was the biggest piece I could find OK) I just kept scribbling not really thinking about how I would actually present this back to the group the next day; so not the most practical; but i think this is a nice way of working' unrolling the paper and watching my ideas 'unroll before my eyes.'

Apologies for the number of inconvenient images; but it was too long to fit into one photograph and still be legible.

Enjoy the idea roll!

Ok this has maybe turned into a bit of an update catch up for the blog; I have ploughed through work but not really put it on the blog; but hopefully it won't all seem like too much information in one go. To go with my endless roll of ideas; i created a few visuals to go with them so that it would be eaiser to discuss my ideas with the group and to help give them context in relation to the WITH brief.

This visual is really an continuation of an image on the previous post. However I have played around with the concept of the glass being a piece of artwork and the smashed glass being placed in an art gallery with the wystore website. This could be a poster or advert aswell which would show the glass as a piece of artwork; the piece being subtle however; disguised in a frame???

A set of posters that play on the idea of mundane inconveniences; and WITH being with you or performing the inconveniences on your behalf so you don't have to experience them. Also testing out the copy 'Capturing your Inconveniences.' the posters are far from finsihed but put a visual with the idea. For these exampels I have used to spilt coffee and burnt toast two things which with tick me off; I have not used a smashed glass; as i did not want to give too much away.

Here is a quick visual surrounding the idea of memories and erasing memories through breaking the glass (destorying an unwanted memory.) I have played with the copy; smash up your past; which i quite liek as a tagline. It was difficult to visualise 'the memory' being in the glass; maybe this could be done with a photograph or smaller objects that are reminiscent of someone's past. Something to further think about.
